Adding Text Effects Within Posts

CSS Properties For Text Background-Color and Paragraph Background-Color

Text background-color is set behind the text only (example above) while the paragraph background-color (examples below) fills the width of the containing text area in the post or web page.

To add something extra to our WordPress designs we add cutom CSS style tags to our posts to make them stand out a little bit more.

We provide our clients some basic training on how to do this themselves along with a full set of copy and paste encoding so they may edit the text only and not have to worry about the CSS properties in their posts.

This gives you the opportunity to add some new looks to the theme without changing the look of other posts and pages by making these changes in the theme’s styles css file. All of these style changes are inline and adjusted in the “Edit Post” window using the “HTML” view option.
